At the forefront of Uganda's tourism revival is a wave of female-led initiatives that are reshaping the sector and reimagining traditional notions of hospitality and adventure.

With a deep appreciation for the country's rich biodiversity, cultural diversity, and scenic beauty, women entrepreneurs are capitalising on Uganda's unique attractions to create immersive and authentic experiences that resonate with travelers seeking meaningful connections and transformative journeys.

One such trailblazer is Sarah Namyalo, founder of Wild Journeys Uganda, a pioneering tour operator that specializes in tailor-made safari experiences focused on wildlife conservation, community engagement, and cultural immersion.

Through her company, Namyalo is not only showcasing Uganda's natural wonders to the world but also empowering local communities, particularly women and youth, by providing training, employment, and capacity-building opportunities in the tourism sector.
